Privacy Policy

Go and Make (“the App”) is a discipleship companion for small discipleship groups, offering content pathways such as For The King. It is operated by Bespoke IT LLC.
Data we collect
- Account information (email, display name, auth provider identifiers)
- Discipleship group membership and invite-code joins
- Weekly checkmark progress (challenges, care for the body, journaling prompts)
- Journal notes you choose to save in the App: typed text and photos or scans of your journal pages, attached to journaling and SOAP items
- Group journaling settings chosen by the leader (whether notes are required, and whether notes are private or shared)
- Optional meeting dates for the group calendar
- Leader-selected group-challenge activity for certain weeks
- If you allow notifications in the native app: a push token for your device, so the App can notify you about your group (one for each account signed in on the device)
- If you buy a Huddle Pass on our website: a record of the pass (which group, leader or member pass, amount, date, and Stripe payment references)
Data we do not collect
- Journal text or photos you don’t save in the App (writing in a paper journal stays on paper)
- Card or bank details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your payment information under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy)
- Location, contacts, or health metrics beyond optional calendar event creation you initiate
How we use data
To run discipleship groups, show shared progress to others in the same group, keep the journal notes you save, and (if you choose) add meeting events to your device calendar.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Progress is visible only to members of your group.
Your data is stored with Supabase, our database, sign-in, and file storage provider. Sign-in and password-reset emails are sent through Resend.
When you buy a Huddle Pass, your email address and the purchase go to Stripe to process the payment. Your group leader can see whether you have a pass, but not payment details.
Notifications tell members of your group when the week advances and when someone finishes a checklist item (with their display name and the item). They are delivered through Expo’s push service and Apple or Google’s notification services. Meeting reminders are scheduled on your device. If you are signed in to more than one account (Settings → Swap account), each account gets its own notifications. Signing out of an account stops its notifications to that device, and you can turn them off in your device settings.
If you use Swap account, the App keeps a sign-in for each account on your device so you can switch without your password: in the device’s secure keychain on iPhone and Android, or in your browser on the web. Signing out of an account removes its sign-in.
Journal notes follow the group’s notes setting at the time you save them:
- Private (the default): only you can read the note and its photos. Your leader cannot read it.
- Shared with huddle: everyone in your group can read the note and its photos, from the Progress tab.
The notes screen always tells you which setting applies before you save. Changing the setting doesn’t change notes that were already saved; a note picks up the current setting the next time you edit it. Photos are stored in a private storage bucket and are only shown through short-lived links to people allowed to read the note.
Deletion
You can delete your account from Settings → Delete account. This also deletes your journal notes, photos, and device push tokens. Huddle Pass records are kept without your account, for accounting and refunds. Leaders who dissolve a group remove that group’s membership, progress, journal notes, and photos. You can delete an individual note by clearing its text and photos. See Delete your account for step-by-step instructions, including how to ask us to delete it for you.
